Nope, it was just little Ana running around our apartment with a Hannah Montana wig on.
I’m sorry, but if you didn’t grow up watching this show, I feel sorry for you. Jk, but also it’s kind of a classic for my generation.
Maybe it was just me, but I watched every episode of this show growing up and may or may have not cried when the final episode aired in 2011.
Apparently my “little sisters” from Madrid had seen it too, or else Ana wouldn’t have been running around the apartment one morning with the wig on.
Normally I would have been fine with them wanting to play “dress up,” but since both of them had HEAD LICE,
I had solid reasoning for why it was NOT the day for dress up, or for them to be sharing the wig.
If you watched the funny video, you saw Ana running/dancing away from me (of course, that was immediately after I told her to take off the wig). They couldn’t grasp the fact that wig-sharing while you have lice isn’t a good idea, so how did I resolve this challenge? I rephrased my previous reasoning, told them that we were not doing any more “dress up” for the day and got them engaged in a new activity.
On the subject of Hannah Montana, you bet I had the three of us watch Hannah Montana: The Movie that afternoon. I turned a classic Disney Channel movie from my childhood into a somewhat educational activity, making them listen to the movie in English and see what the culture of American children’s entertainment was like.
